It starts with noticing when someone may be struggling\, reaching out with compassion\, and reminding them they are not alone. \nJoin us at The Pillar Center for QPR (Question\, Persuade\, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training\, led by the Corewell Health Center for Wellness team. This evidence-based training equips everyday people—no mental health background required—with the skills to recognize someone in crisis and connect them with help. \nEvery day we encounter people carrying stories we may never fully know. Some are filled with hope\, while others are hidden behind silence and pain. Through QPR\, you’ll gain the confidence to recognize when someone may need support and learn how to respond in a caring\, effective way. \nDuring this training\, you’ll learn how to:\n\nRecognize the warning signs of suicide\nOffer hope and compassionate support\nConnect someone to the appropriate resources and help save a life\n\nTogether\, we can create a community where people feel seen\, supported\, and valued. \nEvent Details \n\nDate: Thursday\, September 3\nTime: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM\nLocation: The Pillar Center\, 315 E.
